I saw only you years ago and thought the actor in it was really handsome, then years later my grandson was watching Shaggy Dog and I shouted 'Oh Robert Downey Jr,' then I bought him a Marvel comic and what was in it, Iron Man with a picture of Robert Downey Jr. My grandson is only 3 and of course wants to be Iron Man so I had to buy the film, watched it, then bought Only You, watched that, joined the fan club, the rest is history. Think he is amazing, not only in looks but what he has conquered. Not many can say they have faced being at a low point in there life and against all odds fought so hard to bring themselves back into reality. Well done Robert for being an example to the younger generation. |

I've been a long time fan of RDJ's. He's been my favorite actor since I saw Chaplin and Heart and Souls. I used to be an aspiring actor myself, since then I've searched everywhere for the older stuff, like Tuff Turf, True Believer and The Pick-Up Artist. I have followed all the ups and downs and always hoped for the best, that one day everyone else would realize what a talent he is and always has been. |
