I do the same thing. Though in this case I have been focusing on 2003 and after because that is when he got sober. Plus, I find him infinitely more attractive now that he is in his 40's. I have watched some of his earlier stuff, but, was not particularly impressed. This may be the most intense actor obsession that I have ever had. I can't wait for a new movie of his to come out. Seriously, I am not sure that I can take this waiting for much longer. |

I'm the same as Fiona. I go on what my family calls "actor binges" where I watch every movie a particular actor has ever done. Robert Downey Jr. is my current obsession; I just can't get enough of this man! |

I think Robert is the most beautiful person I've ever seen.. I'm serious, he is close to perfection. His smile, his eyes, his look and everything of him carries me in another world apparently but not actually real. I love him when he kisses Susan, when he cries during movies or when he makes his idiot faces. My dream is to meet him and to pass just a day with him. In that case I could really be the happiest person of the world. |

I think it was Iron Man when I first noticed Robert Downey Jr. I'm sure I'd seen some of his other films, but in them he had been criminally pushed into the background. A man with such charisma belongs in the forefront. Somehow, and I don't know how, I began doing a little research on the man. He is so incredibly talented, it's literally cathartic to watch. Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man, his two most recent starring roles have shown this if nothing else. How one man can carry an entire franchise is astounding. And then I went back and watched Tropic Thunder. Many people say that his performance should offend me, as an African American male. Why? He was not skewering me. If anything, he was skewering himself and the length that actors will go to get a part. In everything he has done that I've seen, he radiates amazingness. As someone who wants to go into acting, Robert Downey Jr. is an inspiration. |

Hello! I have been watching a lot of RDJ movies lately, and listening to your music, and I am amazed every day at the ammount of talent you have. I love all your movies, and your music is heartfelt and has meaning behind it. I also have to say how inspiring you have been to me. After reading about your battle with drugs, and how you fought out and are now probably the biggest actor as of now, it really amazed me. I have 100% respect for you for making those decisions, and I will always respect you. And finally, I need to say thank you, for being such an inspiration to me. Even though I have never met you, your story has inspired me to do many things I would never have done before, one of which is giving speeches to children and teenagers about the dangers of drugs. All of which I would never have done without your inspiration. Thank you for living such a motivating life. |

What can I say that you haven't heard already. Lets start with Love you work on Iron Man 1 and 2. I enjoyed both and admire the great job you did on Sherlock Holmes. You are a great actor and not to bad to look at too. lol I find you exceedingly handsome. With that out of the way, I might be lucky one day to grace your present. Until then keep up the good work.
